ABOUT KELSEY
I am a marketer who values disruptive thinking, a drive for results, and continuous growth.
I am currently the Director of Brand and Innovation at Love Good Fats, a proudly Canadian food start-up that's growing rapidly across North America. We're working tirelessly every day to help people reduce their sugar intake while still enjoying ridiculously delicious food loaded with good fats.
I have experience in both consumer packaged goods and direct-to-consumer e-commerce businesses having launched my career at Kraft Heinz where I managed multi-million dollar brands such as McCafe and Maxwell House before moving into e-commerce to help build Canada's first meal kit brand, Chefs Plate, that successfully sold to HelloFresh in 2018. Today I am combining my experience with disciplined business management and digital marketing to help fuel the growth of a proudly Canadian packaged goods startup, Love Good Fats.
Mentorship and a focus on development are extremely important to me and I not only continuously push myself outside of my comfort zone, but am also passionate about developing others, which I do as a manager at work and through my role as a Program Director for the UBC Brand Management Mentorship Program (BMMP). BMMP helps students land their dream careers by developing their business fundamentals and preparing them for the workplace.
In my spare time, you will find me hunting down vinyl records, playing soccer, and writing poetry.
