When you think sexy, digital marketing, you're typically drawn to extremely creative campaigns like Samsung's Virtual Line for the release of the new Samsung Galaxy S4. That being said, it's not always the sexy that's effective.

A powerful search marketing approach can benefit your company and help grow the business. Paid search is one way of drawing consumer's into your website through the use of products like Google AdWords, but you've also got the option of Organic SEO that is a more cost-effective approach to driving traffic to your website.
Let's first kickoff with understanding exactly what organic SEO is. Esentially organic SEO  "is the phrase used to describe processes to obtain a natural placement on organic search engine results page." The beauty of organic SEO is that it allows you to rank higher in search results and drive more traffic to your website without paying for placement.

Understandably, SEO can be a bit overwheling, and until you're ready to dive in deep or hire a Search Engine Optimizer, it's helpful to get started with a few easy fixes. A few quickways you can improve your organic SEO on your physical website are through:

1. Key words in title tags
These help search engines understand what each page is about. Such tags should be unique and rich in keywords.

2. Key words in the URL
Whatever keyword you hope your website to rank for should be included in the URL. For example, if you want to rank for "male soccer cleats" your URL should be something like www.sportsapparel.com/mens-soccer-cleats.html

3. Strong Content
Your content is what's going to be indexed by the search engine.* That means that it needs to be strong content and it needs to be rich in keywords. Remember to keep each page focused on one keyword.

4. Blogging
When you blog, it notifies search engines that you are keeping your website current, which will improve your search relevancy.
